JMB Racing - Structure and Information

JMB Racing is our registered racing syndicate (registered with Wetherbys UK) the racehorses allocated to JMB Racing are in training with Milton Bradley, one of the UK's most respected trainers.

Each horse is allocated into 5 parts (4 x 12.5 shares available as part ownership shares and 50% allocated to the racing club).

The racing club will be based on up to 125 members per horse, ie 4 horses = maximum of 500 members of the racing club, 6 horses=750 members etc.

Each member/unit of the racing club is allocated % share of prize money awarded based on maximum subscription ie if the club has four horses then each member unit would receive 1/500th of 50% of prize money per horse, if club has 6 horses then each member unit would receive 1/750th of 50% of prize money award  per horse.

You may join club for more than one unit, ie if you join as two units (double subscription fees) you will be allocated 2 membership logins and passwords and will receive two payments of prize money combined. Owners badges are allocated by membership ids and you may apply in both for raceday badges etc.

You can be assured of an open and honest approach to racehorse ownership that includes full details of all aspects associated with your syndicate.

Owners badges are available free of charge or at discount whenever we are racing, these racecourse tickets give you full access to the parade ring, owners/trainers bars/restaurants, access to owners viewing areas including private boxes at some racecourses. These tickets are not available to the public as they are strictly limited to racehorse owners/syndicate members.

You can visit your horse at the stables at a time to suit you (by prior arrangement).

All information shared via the members site is based on our opinion and no guarantees come with the information, any losses incurred through betting is at your own risk.

Race entries and ticket application is posted in the members website area prior to racing.

After signing up we will email and post you a welcome letter and your personal access details to the restricted website area, access is available online 24/7. 

1/Legal Ownership and racing registration of the business's horses are determined by JMB Racing management, all horses are registered to a nominee of JMB Racing. Your ownership share is an agreement with JMB Racing.

2/ The prize money entitlement calculation, the proportion of the horse funded by memberships and the standard industry distribution percentages to jockey, trainer etc (currently deductions for winning are 23% and placing 20%), for example if a JMB Racing horse was awarded a prize of £10,000 for winning a race, the owners would receive £7,700, or if awarded £1,000 for placing owners would receive £800, this amount is then divided by share percentage to part owners and racing club.

3/ You agree not to share information with anyone outside of the club.

4/ You declare that your main interest in being a shareholder is the enjoyment of your allocated racehorse and is in not based on expected financial returns.

5/ Free race day tickets are limited in number and may not necessarily be allocated to yourself, unless you are a part owner of 12.5% or great in a club horse.

6/ Application for owners badges is only via the members area of the website and free discounted allocation is by a random draw with fair rotation method.

7/ You promise not to initiate communication with the horse's trainers, all communications should go through JMB Racing official contact points published on the website.

8/ You undertake to raise any queries or complaints to at info@jmbracing.co.uk in the first instance.

10/ Only part owners (12.5% or greater) will receive any proceeds from horse sales, club members will receive a substitute horse within 30 days of a horse being sold.

11/ Prize money allocated to club members will be paid within 45 days by Paypal or UK Cheque either annually or at request from member, subject to a minimum payout of £10, any figure under this amount will be carried over while membership is active if membership lapse prize money due will be allocated to a racing charity.

12/ Your membership will be cancelled and members access removed within 14 days of non payment of monthly or annual fee.

13/ Any misuse or abuse of the private messaging and forum facilities of JMB Racing will immediately terminate your membership.

14/ Membership cannot be resold. Part ownership shares (ie 12.5% or above maybe resold, though a £60 transfer fee will apply to change owners registration details before the transfer of ownership is valid.

15/ Members Web Area terms - You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
